Florent Thouvenin

Florent Thouvenin is full professor of information and communications law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich. He is also Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Center for Information Technology, Society, and Law (ITSL) at the University of Zurich, and President of the Swiss Forum for Communications Law (SF-FS). His research deals with legal issues relating to digitalisation, in particular copyright and data protection law. He is currently working on the development of a Swiss legal framework for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and on fundamental questions of data protection law.
